Dr. Detlef H.G. Temme, Medical Director
As one of the leading developers of reproductive medicine in Germany Dr.Temme pioneered the methodology and technology of assisted reproduction and is today a foremost international specialist in endocrinology, infertility and assisted reproduction.
Dr.Temme studied biology and medicine at the University in Goettingen, Germany. He completed a clinical fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University Womenís Hospital Goettingen where he headed the department of andrology. In 1983 he established one of Germanyís first in-vitro clinics at the University Women’s Hospital in Goettingen. After 10 years in private practice in Munich specializing in gynecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine, he successfully established Berlin’s leading clinic for fertility and reproductive endocrinology.
In his clinical studies Dr. Temme pursues a wide area of research including early pregnancy endocrinology, male endocrinology, female hyperandrogenemic problems, and preparatory methods in spermatology. His clinical interests have led to advancements in cryopreservation and in the application of medical genetics.
For over 15 years Dr. Temme has held and organized a series of educational lectures and clinics on innovations in reproductive medicine for ob/gyns called GynDialog, accredited by the German Board, in German. For more information on scheduling and registration, please contact us.
